One of my favourite memories of Lex is when he agreed to run 10km with me in the Melbourne Marathon for my 60th birthday. It was 2016 and it was very special for me to run with my grandson. Lex was 13 and he kept stopping throughout the run for me to catch up to him.  He also waited at the finish line for me to finish, so that we could return to our family together with our medals. I miss you so much Lex. 💜💜
